Hey everyone! This week we’re changing things up a bit so our friend Tristan is here to show us all how to play the lead guitar part from “Adventure of A Lifetime” by Coldplay.

It’s a fairly straight-forward riff comprised of single notes and pull-offs. And even though it’s a super long riff, each part of it uses a lot of the same bits, so it shouldn’t take you too long to get it under your fingers.

I’d also like to mention that since the capo is on the 12th fret, if you don’t have a guitar that goes up that high, you can just play this entire lesson in the open position (no capo). It totally works out because the 12th fret is where all the notes on the guitar start repeating.

And finally, I must admit, it was kinda nice to be able to sit back, off-camera, and focus on filming/editing/everything else. So enjoy this one and I’ll see you all next week with a fan request!
