Guitar Tuner: Tune Acoustic and Electric Guitar Online (E A D G B e)
Here’s an online guitar tuner to help you ensure your acoustic or electric guitar is perfectly in tune! While you could use a guitar tuner app, in this lesson you’ll learn how to tune a guitar without a tuner in EADGBE (standard tuning).
Tuning By Ear vs Using A Tuner
If you own an electronic tuner, it will often provide the most accurate results. If you need help, I have a lesson on how to use a clip on tuner for guitar.

You will hear a note played repeatedly; adjust your tuning peg until your string matches the sound.
This guitar tuner is suitable for both acoustic and electric guitars in standard tuning.
