Hey everyone! In today’s lesson I’m going to show you how to play “Hit the Road Jack” by Ray Charles. This one uses some funny chord shapes because it’s in the key of A flat. I’ve come up with a bunch of 3 note voicings and a very simple fingerstyle pattern that gives you both a bassline and chord shapes all in one, in a very easy way. If you’re a beginner, this song is certainly approachable and something that you could have down by the end of this lesson.
