The lesson begins with the verse. Now, the rest of the song is just strumming simple chords, but this part requires some counting. We show you the chord shapes (C, Am, F) and then how to count them out. Eventually we add a bit of a bassline and we end up with something that sounds pretty darn close to the original (which is played on piano).
Following that, the rest is quite easy. We learn the G and Em chords, and then strum through them with a simple pattern: D R D Du (“Down Root Down Down-up”).
