In this easy acoustic lesson, we’ll go over my Shape Of You Guitar Tutorial by Ed Sheeran, a basic 4-chord song that is very repetitive and great for beginners.
Shape Of You Chords: Am, Dm, G, F
We start out by showing you how to play it with a capo, using basic chords and then add a strumming pattern.
After that, we show you how to play it with barre chords, which gives you a few more options as far as the “feel” of the song is concerned.
We finish it off by showing you several ways you can “spice up” the tune – changing the way we strum the chords (and even how to play a rhythmic bassline).
