Hammer-on Too Quiet? Fix It With This WEIRD Hammer On Guitar Trick!

It’s been my go-to exercise for people who are having trouble with hammer-ons and today I’m going to share it with you!\

Imagine you need to get a nail into a board. If you were to just try and push it in with the hammer, it’s not going to be as effective as if you swing that hammer! So we’re going to learn how to swing our finger into the fretboard.

First, we’ll actually flip the guitar around and practice making a knocking sound on the back of the neck. Next, we flip the guitar over and practice that same motion, but targeting a string, to get the accuracy. This quick tip will get you playing hammer-ons it within the next 5 to 10 minutes!

I hope you have a good one and I’ll see you next time!
